Can you please give us a big picture of your day?

My team usually works in the office, and we start the day around 10 a.m. Lunchtime brings delightful moments, whether eating with my boss or my team members. Time passes so fast, and it’s 6 to 7 p.m. when we would call it a day. On some Thursdays, I go to play soccer with my team. It’s a great way to bond and connect!

What was your favorite moment at LINE MAN Wongnai?

One of my tasks was creating pitch decks and communication plans to negotiate with potential restaurant partnerships on our platform. Among them, designing the pitch deck for the successful collaboration with “Emily’s” restaurant stands out. It was a unique and challenging project that demanded creativity and innovation within a tighter deadline compared to other restaurant engagements.

What have you learned during your internship?

The work here requires a high level of speed and precision, as well as consistent quality. I have learned the importance of adapting to various situations within limited timeframes, such as urgent assignments.

Any advice for people who want to apply for this program?

I want to say that I don’t regret having the opportunity to work here because I got to experience real work and the culture fits me well. I have a lot of freedom to work wherever I want, not just at a desk all day. The team is nice and supportive, they teach me new things most of the time.

Nun — Junlajak Jongpipattanakul

From Computer Science — UC Berkeley
Position: Quality Assurance (QA)

Can you please give us a big picture of your day?

I typically begin my workday around 10. It’s right around 11 a.m. when my team gathers for our daily stand-up meeting. During this session, we chatted about what we achieved the day before and laid out our plans for the day ahead. After that we dive into our own tasks, getting our day in full swing, just as we had discussed.

What was your favorite moment at LINE MAN Wongnai?

I was impressed by how my seniors trusted me with major responsibility, allowing me to handle a large-scale project on my own, even though I was still working on gaining experience.

My team was always there to offer advice and assistance whenever I faced challenges. The work system here is efficient, and we all have that mutual respect, providing us with the confidence to express our ideas openly.

What have you learned during your internship?

Besides developing my technical skills, interning here has also strengthened my soft skills like teamwork and coordination. It was an advantageous experience where I learned a lot and felt like being part of the team.

Any advice for people who want to apply for this program?

I would encourage everyone to have confidence in themselves. Personally, I am glad I applied for an internship here due to the welcoming and supportive work culture fostered by everyone. The seniors not only impart valuable lessons but also provide us with the freedom to pursue our work independently.

Position: Fleet Marketing

Can you please give us a big picture of your day?

Once I arrive at the office around 10 a.m., I review my to-do list first. I work until noon, and then it’s time for lunch. Afterward, I continue working, clearing out my tasks, and occasionally treating myself to some snacks. When the workday ends, I have a few options for how to spend my time. I might have dinner with my team, or head straight back home.

What was your favorite moment at LINE MAN Wongnai?

One of the most fulfilling experiences during my internship was coordinating an event for our riders. I had the opportunity to take the lead in various aspects of the event, from conceptualizing it to selecting the venue and organizing activities. What made it even more enjoyable was seeing everyone come together to support my ideas and watching them being put into action.

What have you learned during your internship?

The key aspect is how I applied for an internship in a different field from my area of study. This experience transformed my mindset, as I now understand that anyone can effectively learn new things when driven by passion and dedicated effort.

Any advice for people who want to apply for this program?

Maintain confidence in your abilities and don’t hesitate to go beyond your comfort zone. The supportive workplace environment, teammates, and benefits will assist you in navigating your career path while fostering growth. It’s a great opportunity for us to flourish and develop ourselves!
